Next Week We Step It Up

Great job at the party.......I agree - Lets step it up next week. We both need to lose 5 pounds next week. Weigh in on Monday Morning, and we will weigh in again the monday after. I am shooting for ten pounds, but 5 is what we both need to do........Deal? Ok Deal!!!!

SAYING NO TO DESSERT!
WoO HoO Frankie G back in the house! Yeah!!! Missed you... I was starting to slide.... but I can't, I won't. I gained a few of my pounds back, but am determined more then ever to lose 10 more pounds. I would like to do that before I turn 40, so now is the time!
Tonight I was invited to my work's recognition awards dinner - cocktails, appetizers, dinner, more cocktails and dessert! And I was good. I did enjoy a few of the appetizers (a bit bad, but oh so good), I only had 1 glass of red wine (could have drunk more, but I refrained), enjoyed a healthy chicken/fingerling potato/carrot dinner... and then GET THIS.... I can't believe I said NO to dessert! It was this decadent thick slice of chocolate cake with chocolate icing, and a raspberry swirl all over that plate... it screamed out to me... BUT I refrained and was the only one at my table to say no to that sinful treat! (and I even pat myself on my back afterward)... no craving at all for it, can you say WoO HoO Me?!?
Frankie - let's take it up a notch.... I need some kind of motivation, even more to lose these pounds... what can we do to make this happen!?!?!? I'm up for anything!

I AM BACK!!!!!
Hello again!!!
My bad...just got VERY busy. I am trying to be a better blogger like Joanne, but it will take time. I have lost a few pounds, and started exercising FINALLY this week. I need to pump it up a bit more with the exercise, but I will!
Eating alot better now, and will continue to do so.
For example: I had an egg white omelet for breakfast. See told ya so...... very healthy.

Keeping it off... now for those sneakers....
I am happy to say that I am keeping the pounds off that I lost during my 7-day cleanse. I am back in a semi-happy weight range, but want to lose more. 6 pounds down.... 7 more to go before Key West.
AND.... Good thing with my sneakers.... I found them. I am actually wearing them as I type, because I am going for a power walk today at lunch, yes I am!
I can do it, yes I can.
Frank - you need to get on this!!! Start blogging, start sharing, because truly when you do... you are accountable for making it happen! SO.... waiting for your post. If you don't post soon, I will call you on the hour every hour... starting at noon today.
I'm waiting....... ;)~

Hello? Isn't anyone there?!?!?
It appears we lost the originator of this challenge?!?! ;) Come out come out wherever you are Frankie G!
I am still doing my thing. I cheated only twice during my 7 day Sacredness... and I actually turned it into a 6 day version. I'm done with it today, a day early. Last night how could I say no to Sangria's and burrito's? Impossible! Tonite I am putting together the computers, audio and visuals for a big presentation with 100 guests after work, and of course I need to also enjoy the cocktails and hors d'oevres :) SO I did it, and I think I lost about 4 pounds of gunk. Now I need to keep on eating good, really good, and keep up the exercise!

One Week
We have almost made it to the One Week mark, and my thoughts go to The Barenaked Ladies and their song with the same name...
Its been one week since you looked at me

Three days since the living room
I realized its all my fault, but couldn't tell you

I summon fish to the dish, although I like the chalet swiss
I like the sushi cause its never touched a frying pan

And that is where I stop.
I am big... bigger then leann rimes, bigger then I thought I was. I knew I gained weight, but when I scrambled this morning to try and find a pair of slacks to wear to church. The same pair that I wore last year at this time, would not get over my hummana hummana hips. I am not happy with me, not at all. I guess I need to think of the band's name, and take a good look at me, at how I look BARE and NAKED and then work on those parts that make me cringe.
NOW the problem, I am running out of time. My 40th birthday quickly approaches, and my goal is to lose enough weight to feel good about me in a summer dress when we go to Florida. Oh my, I just counted and speaking of 40, ...in 40 days we're flying to Florida. So 40 days & counting to be in a better smaller space.
Frankie G - where are you, I was really into this motivational blog, but am not getting motivated... so come out come out wherever you are! How are you doing, have you lost, if so, how much?! Let's keep it up - keep it off!
I was down 4 pounds, half way in my sacred heart, but I just stepped on the scale and am up 2 of those 4 pounds. up and down like a yo-yo am I. If it weren't raining out, I'd try to find my sneakers, and if Jim weren't hogging the tv, I'd do my Wii Fit, but he is, it is, and I am sick of my soup. Tomorrow, yes tomorrow I wake up early and turn my Wii back on, and week 2 I will incorporate exercise!

Feeling Fabulous... and you?!?!?
Um Frankie G.... where are you?! I know you are busy, but you got me hooked, and now you too must follow. Need your updates ASAP!!! How you hangin in there? Me you ask?! I am feeling fabulous - really! Day 2 with my Sacred Heart and only 1 cup of coffee, veggies and tons of soup and tea and water and feeling great - energy is a plenty and I'm thrilled, no draggy feeling like I usually get by this time in my work day.
New & Exciting?!?! My co-worker and friend knows my goal to be fit & fabulous by 4T, so she bought me an early gift: Kettlenetics - it is a new three dimensional weight swinging workout that has all the fat-burning, muscle-shaping benefits of resistance training, but without the awkward, heavy weights of tradtional weight training. (I quoted the booklet), I can't wait to try it at home tonite! Because those sneakers you ask?! Yup, they still haven't found their way to my feet! And I need to get on that asap! This weekend I start my FIT portion of getting to FABULOUS! :)

OH NO SHE DIDN'T
Oh yes I did. Sacred Heart Diet, here I come!
Jim went shopping, stocked us up, and made me a big batch of the 'sacred' soup. Day 1 of soup soup soup and healthy food begins tomorrow.
I have a good record with this diet/cleanse/jump start. This will be my 3rd of 4th time doing it. For me, it is a jump start back into a healthier more energetic life. I have been dragging lately, tired, bloated, feeling gross about the weight I've gained. And I know that when I do this, the cravings stop, the energy rises, the motivation kicks in, and I lose those excess pounds that just need to be gone!!!
So Sacred Heart, here I come!

Day 3 - TEMPTATIONS

TEMPTATIONS.
Just say NO to temptation today. Whatever that bad craving of a tempation is for you - it isn't worth it. Because we can do it, if we stick together, and motivate each other. Temptation is a thing of the past! :)
Okay - back to my sneakers. YES. I will admit to this, my sneakers are lost ;) ...well, not really lost, they just haven't found their way onto my feet?!?! WHY, I ask you? Because I have other things (not really) to do. I can't find the time in the day for ME. To stop and take care of the person who needs to get me through this life - and I want to look and feel good moving forward. No one can do this for me. It is up to me. SO what will I do about this you ask? I will let you know after I do it!
For now, I am on the right track. I did not cave in to temptation last night, and Frankie G - I had small portions (give it up for me) - I had a small chicken, and I too did a baked potato, but only had half of one, and I dressed it up with a bit of fat free sourcream! Add some green veggies to the mix and I was satisfied! I did not snack on bad food at all. I did not indulge in any drinks (as I have been enjoying the summer beer and relaxing wine a bit too much these past few months). Something new & different though, I have been getting headaches a bit, but it may be because I am stressed, over worked and tired! I also have been getting this annoying leg cramp (my right ankle which I twisted this past summer) well it just didn't heal 100% and now I get a bit of an ache/annoying numbness kinda feeling at times. I twist my leg a bit to make it better... but I haven't been sleeping good because of this annoying pain. What I should be doing is exercising that leg by walking, and walking lots! Yes... so that brings me back to my sneakers... where are they again?!

Late Night Post
Well....Havent had much time to blog today. Had a very busy day - and Kellie is still kind of sick.
Didnt eat anything for Breakfast ( not good ) and was out of the house early working.
Lunchtime? hmmmm........actually had nothing for lunch - was with a client all day.......did not find the time ( not good ).
Dinner had a porterhouse steak...NICE!
Had a baked potato and corn also.
Not bad...next time no carbs.....I feel a few pounds lighter, but we will see come Next Monday.
Well.....I need to pick up the exercise.....and I will......

I need to up my water intake. Always forget that. No clue what to do for dinner, Jolie has hip hop dance, I wish I could pretend I was 7 and hip and hop with the girls and get some cardio in... but somehow... well... I'm not 7... I'm turning 40 this year! Yes I said it (won't say my weight) but I will say I want to be fit & fabulous by 40... and I only have a few months to do it! ;)

Thought that would be a good jump start to my day. After reading the back label and seeing how many carbs and sugars were in those healthy juicy thingys, I decided to go with a nice piece of watermelon. So this is what I have had today....

My 60 Pound Challenge
Hello -
I have started a blog to help me reach my goals of losing 60 pounds, and getting back into the fantastic shape that i was in back in the day. I am starting TODAY!!!! And I will document everything I do. What I eat - How I exercise - and my progress moving forward. I am doing this to inspire myself!!! I figure if I keep track of everything I do, I will be more aware of making this happen. On this day one year from now - September 20th 2010 - I will be at least 60 pounds lighter.
First things first - Time to weigh in. Yikes!! But I do not mind sharing this info - I think I am Two Eighty Something....NOT GOOD! Well - If I Was a lineman in the NFL - I would actually be small. ( Just trying to be positive ). OK - Be right back - I am going to weigh in.
