AND WE ARE OFF AND RUNNING.......

OK...Happy Monday Morning to everyone. The journey has begun. Woke up - Got the kids to school, and went to the market to get one of those healthy Juice thingys. Thought that would be a good jump start to my day. After reading the back label and seeing how many carbs and sugars were in those healthy juicy thingys, I decided to go with a nice piece of watermelon. So this is what I have had today....

1. Watermelon

Now - I have not exercised today......But I will.....I know you are watching...so I need to get this stuff accomplished!!!!!!!!
Talk to you soon.........LETS DO THIS!!!!!

  1. I am watching and loving it!!! Good for you on looking at the label, they so can be decieving. Nice on your start!

I had a not so healthy but not too bad of a start to my day! I do need to limit my cups of coffee, as each cup I have I add the deadly cream and deadly sugar (adding up fast). SO only 2 cups of coffee for me, and a cup of tea with no sugar. What to do for lunch? at work, hard to be healthy - I may go to the supermarket and stock up on a weeks worth of healthy salad - yeah! week 1 - salads for lunch - that is my goal! I also brought my sneakers to work, and I will (yes I will) be doing a power walk at lunch today!

we can do it - together - let's motivate each other to eat right, eat smart, and then try to enjoy the exercise part ;)

  2. I just got this email with the best weight loss plan, that I think, just may work for you (but don't tell Kellie I said so) ;)

    Weight Loss Plan

A man calls a company and orders their 5-day, 10 lb. weight loss program.

The next day, there's a knock on the door and there stands before him a voluptuous, athletic, 19 year old babe dressed in nothing but a pair of Nike running shoes and a sign around her neck.

She introduces herself as a representative of the weight loss company.

The sign reads, "If you can catch me, you can have me."

Without a second thought, he takes off after her.

A few miles later huffing and puffing, he finally gives up.

The same girl shows up for the next four days and the same thing happens.

On the fifth day, he weighs himself and is delighted to find he has lost 10 lbs. as promised.

He calls the company and orders their 5-day/20 pound program.

The next day there's a knock at the door and there stands the most stunning and beautiful woman he has ever seen in his life.

She is wearing nothing but Reebok running shoes and a sign around her neck that reads, "If you catch me you can have me."

Well, he's out the door after her like a shot.

This girl is in excellent shape and he does his best, but no such luck.

So for the next four days, the same routine happens with him gradually getting in better and better shape.

Much to his delight on the fifth day when he weighs himself, he discovers that he has lost another 20 lbs. as promised.

He decides to go for broke and calls the company to order the 7-day/50 pound program.

"Are you sure?" asks the representative on the phone. "This is our most rigorous program."

"Absolutely," he replies, "I haven't felt this good in years."

The next day there's a knock at the door; and when he opens it he finds a huge muscular guy standing there wearing nothing but pink running shoes and a sign around his neck that reads,"If I catch you, you are mine!!!"

He lost 63 pounds that week.

  3. I am back. Kellie - I hope you are laughing too! I wonder if they have a girl version of this weight loss plan!? ;)

I refrained from badness just now! I setup a video conference for lunch at work, and was offered to enjoy free food! (we all know how much I like food, and when it is free, even better!)

SO I nervously glanced at the table, at the far end there were all sorts of soda's, but I choose healthy and picked a water. Next up was a tray of chips and snacks, which I just ignored, then there were heavenly fresh baked cookies (oh my - a weakness) - but I too ignored them! I instead took a large helping of spinach salad, and a small portion of salad dressing (like 1 tbsn maybe), then I had to take a wrap - it looked too good not to. I realized it was a chopped chicken salad wrap (with mayo) so I tossed the wrap and added the chicken and tomato to my spinach salad and voila - protein and veggies, no wrap (less carb) - a bit of mayo - but that is good for day 1!!!!

Frankie - how you holding up?

Kellie G - keep cheering us on!!! :)

    Anyone else in?!?!?
